Looking at my first Mooney

I'm heading out to Yucca Valley to checkout a '68 Mooney M20C. On a recommendation from a airport owner said that Mooney's are robust, stable, and cost efficient and a pleasure to fly. He said 9 out of 10 pilots would choose a Mooney over other aircraft in the same category. I have not been looking at Mooney's in my search for my aircraft yet -- so this will be a very exciting trip.
